I’ve collated a couple of lessons learnt in this little letter for myself,

written to remind myself when times aren’t so great.

I hope it helps you too, whoever that's reading this, in one way or another.

DIMENSIONS

Multidimensional, multi-faceted - 

words that have been on my mind a little too much lately.

'Bout that V-Look & Blonde lyfe

So... I'm blonde now. Coughs, *platinum blonde, please.

A couple weeks back, myself and a couple of other bloggers got a lovely invitation to attend the L'Oreal Hair Show @ Singapore Fashion Week and to try out L'Oreal Professionnel's newest service - the V-Look Haircut & Color. 

The original plan was for me to go brown... well.

Rips & Ramblings on Recreating Yourself

It's been a while... This is a huge problem, but a major part of why I don't post often is because I'm afraid of posting things without a good topic to speak about. Do people bother reading long ass blogposts anymore? I don't know. 

Ever felt like you couldn't change the way you act, or your style because that's the way you're already 'perceived' on the outside? The past couple of months had been spent on recreating, or rather, improving myself from the inside out.

Revisted/ first shoot that I've embarked on featuring vintage pieces and mixing in the new, giving it all a modern twist. Felicia and I are very excited to be able to show you guys the entire project. In the process of editing the next two looks - let me know what you guys think! 

Had been real busy recently with work, personal projects and I'm trying to find time to just do my own shit and wind down a little. Time's passing by way too quickly, and I'm starting school next month. Few other collabs happening soon, can't wait to be able to share it with ya'll!

A Look Into | Of Knots & Such

 Be it using the flannel to emulate nonchalance of the 90s grunge era, or the stiffness of a varsity jacket to produce symmetry by tying it at the waists - creating shape & dimension to an outfit was an idea I've loved for the longest time.

Prom Perspectives - Part 1

As I'm sitting here contemplating whether I should even do a *personal* blog post about prom while talking to a friend, it really hit my how horrible my memory is/ have gotten. This post would be a visual diary and reminder to my future self of how lucky we were to be able to experience such things, moments and with such people.

A Look Into | Perspex

Perspex;

simliar to lucite, solid transparent plastic.

Weird fabrics (pvc!) / materials have been all the rave nowadays. Having filtered down from designer to high street brands, blogshops have now jumped in the perspex mania as well. Lucite heels, clear platforms, the highly popular boxy plastic clutches, cuffs and chokers - you name it all. It's easy to spot the common products such as the clear clutches (blogshops, ugh) and even lucite heels in high street stores.

 

Fresh Start

The blog is finally up again, not that anyone cares for now. Everything's wiped off and given a fresh new face, I've done up a simple little banner above. Working on making a little logo, or a crest for the sidebar. O's are FINALLY over, and I have planned all these things that I need to start doing and the first would be to get the blog up again. We'll be talking about Trends and showcase different outfits and all that jazz over here, so that's something I'm really excited slash nervous about. Not really good with words, but hey, imma do my best.

Prom's coming up, the dress's final touches will be done tomorrow night / Sunday. I can't wait to be able to reveal the final looks of the fruit of our labour. I'll be vlogging and compiling different clips for Get Ready With Us - Prom Edition, which I've mentioned on ASK. If possible, I'd def be taking pictures of my favourite Prom Looks that night and share it with ya'll & we can possibly start a tiny STYLE SPOTTED SEGMENT over here at Ohnanaz. Damn, I gotta find a better segment title.

Things I'm working on, oh god there are plenty. First of all, I don't know what/how this blog is gonna be. A part of me wants it to be more personal so I can share things like that with you guys, but another part of me wants it to be a professional Style Blog. I don't like being restrained ugh - the dilemma. I'll be working on making this a brand in the next few years, I'm on that #ShamelessMovement and improving everything related to that.

Alright it's 5.18am, I'm working on collecting inspiration and materials for my next blogpost. I also have to go fix my face for prom tomorrow, tata!
